N-nitroso-n-phenylhydroxylamine ammonium salt is an important analytical reagent, which can form water-insoluble precipitates with copper, iron, aluminum, titanium, etc., and can be extracted by trichloromethane, ethyl acetate and other organic solvents. It is mainly used as precipitating agent for precipitation separation or weighing analysis. It can also be used as an extractant for extraction separation or photometric analysis, such as for the separation of copper and iron from other metal ions; For precipitation determination of iron from strong acid solution; Used for quantitative determination of vanadate formation of deep red precipitate; Used for quantitative determination of titanium formation yellow precipitate; Used for colorimetric Chemicalbook determination of aluminum.
