Isocyanate, the general name of various esters of isocyanate (HNCO), the more important compounds are alkyl monoisocyanate, (substituted) phenyl monoisocyanate, A-substituted node isocyanate, polyisocyanate vinegar, etc. The common ones are toluene diisocyanate (TDI), diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), polychemicalbook methyl polyphenyl polyisocyanate (PAPI) and hexamethylenediisocyanate (HDI). Due to their different characteristics, they are widely used in the preparation of plant protection agents, insecticides, herbicides, plant growth regulators and anti-tumor drugs, etc., and their polymers can be used to synthesize pigments, resins, textile hydrophobic agents, plastics, detergents, foams, elastomers, binder and coatings.

Isocyanate is a general term for various esters of isocyanic acid, used in household appliances, automobiles, construction, footwear, furniture, adhesives and other industries. If the number of -NCO groups is classified, including monoisocyanate R-N=C=O and diisocyanate O=C=N-R-N=C=O and polyisocyanate.
Common diisocyanates include toluene diisocyanate (TDI), isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), dicyclohexylmethane diisocyanate (HMDI), hexamethylenediisocyanate (HDI), and lysine diisocyanate (LDI).

Monoisocyanate is an important intermediate in organic synthesis, which can be made into a series of carbamate insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and also used to improve the water resistance of plastics, fabrics, leather, etc. The difunctional group and above isocyanate can be used to synthesize a series of excellent performance of polyurethane foam, rubber, elastic fiber, paint, adhesive, synthetic leather, artificial wood and so on.
Toluene Diisocyanate (Toluene Diisocyanate, TDI) is the product below; Methylenediphenyl Diisocyanate (MDI).
TDI is a colorless liquid with a strong pungent taste, with a boiling point of 251°C and a specific gravity of 1.22. It turns black when exposed to light, has a strong irritating effect on skin and eyes, and can cause eczema and bronchial asthma. It is mainly used in polyurethane foam, coatings, synthetic rubber, insulating paint, adhesives and so on. According to its composition, toluene diisocyanate is a nitrogenous organic compound.
Diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) can be divided into pure MDI and crude MDI. Pure MDI is a white solid at room temperature, when heated irritating odor, boiling point 196°C, mainly used in polyurethane hard foam, synthetic fiber, synthetic rubber, synthetic leather, adhesive and so on. According to its composition, pure diphenylmethane diisocyanate is also an organic compound containing nitrogen.
